How to Rearrange Instagram Posts on Instagram Grid

 

Your Instagram profile can change a lot over time. You may have changed your style, started posting different types of content, or simply ended up with a few posts that don't look right next to each other.

Until now, changing the position of an existing post wasn't really an option. You had to leave it where it was, archive it, or delete and repost it.

Instagram's Reorder Grid feature gives you another option. You can now change the order of your existing posts and give your profile a different look without having to start over.

Why Rearrange Your Instagram Grid?

There are plenty of reasons to change the order of your posts.

You might want to bring an older favorite closer to the top of your profile, put photos from the same trip together, or simply move a post that doesn't fit well with the content around it.

It's also useful if your Instagram style has changed. Instead of removing older posts just because they no longer match your current feed, you can give them a different place in your grid.

Before you start, take a quick look through your older posts. You might find photos or videos that you still want but no longer have saved on your phone. If you come across one, you can use Linkdownloader to save an Instagram photo or video before rearranging your profile.

How to Rearrange Instagram Posts

Go to your Instagram profile and tap Edit Profile. Then select Reorder Grid to open the grid editor.

You'll be able to move your existing posts into different positions. Rearrange the posts you want until you're happy with the new layout.

You don't need to delete or repost anything. The posts remain on your account, but their positions in your profile grid can be changed.

Give Your Profile a Fresh Look
